Is It Perfectionism?
I’ve been reflecting on my relationship with perfectionism, and if that’s even the best word for what I experience.
Helping you help others.
You’re already doing great work, and I want to support you to be even more effective by providing an insider’s perspective on what’s going on.
If you’ve ever scratched your head, at a loss for how to help, or even how to understand what kind of help would be helpful.
If you’re frequently wondering:
You don’t have to figure this out alone. There are reasons, though they may not be obvious to someone who isn’t autistic.
That’s where I come in. I can help you look at what’s going on in a new way, and suggest things you can do to be more effective and have a greater impact in the work you love.
And if you’re doing research on autistic experiences and would like to pick my brain, you can ask me about my perspective, work, autism, burnout, etc. and I’ll give you as much as I can in an hour (which is a lot).

Here are a few prompts to reflect on what messages you were taught about rest, and how you would like to engage with it in the future.
I find it a lot easier to do things when I know why they matter, and then I don’t complain about them (nearly as much).
